Learn how aperture affects background blur, subject separation, and the amount of light entering the camera. Practice selecting aperture for portraits, lifestyle, and daytime shooting.
Master how to control movement in your images—whether it’s stopping action at a rodeo or using slow shutter speeds for intentional motion blur.
Start in full manual mode to understand the fundamentals, then learn how to move into semi-automated modes without losing control.
Practical instruction on low-light street scenes, evening lifestyle images, and sunset sessions.
Learn how to anticipate action, select the right shutter speed, and track movement effectively.
